People of the world- today we are going to talk about something that we are all guilty of. When you go to the bank and slip your debit card into that big box of a machine what do the ask you to enter? If you said your PIN number- just stop that right now. PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER NUMBER? They just want your PIN. Two numbers not needed :) Oh also, that contraption? If you called it an ATM Machine. Guilty again. Machine, Machine? We only need one automated teller. We do this all the time. A certain gentlemen friend of mine hates this. And so now- I've picked up on it. It's every where! I do believe the PIN number is the most used... but I've also found CAD design, CNN news network, GOP party, GRE exam, PC Computer, RAM memory, VIN number, UPC Code, %APR- we are filling our speech with redundant acronyms. And now you'll think about it every time you say PIN number. But you won't stop cause it'll feel weird to say. So just know, If I hear you saying you're studying for the GRE exam I'm going to chuckle.
This just in: apparently you could have RAS syndrome YES- redundant acronym syndrome syndrome. Oh you funny people.... this is real life folks. Sound smart and don't be redundant.
